Apt #96 - Northwest Diaries

It was a majestic scenery all around, the people, the environment, and everything was new. Luckily, We got an apartment for rent and Unfortunately, we had to pay for two months owed to the advance booking, the first step landed on the horizon, in the great countryside of Maryville where the August month's 8:00 PM felt like the 4:00 PM of the tropical countries and there I was thinking about the time travel I made on the Earth, soon when the ISA took 40$ from us, a tall guy named Prahasith accompanied by a lad swinging his hands approached us, (Of course, me and Prasad), Some new friends were playing cricket in the parking lot and Krishna ran towards us from there, like a kid who feels ecstatic for the expected gifts in the luggage of its relatives.

We were five and on the same day, Supreme among us standing outside of our apartment. Ok, Yeah! we mistook him as a faculty due to his sincere gesture and offered a temporary accommodation leading to six of us. Suprem at the speed of light became our permanent cook lead, Prasad - the vegetable chopper, Prahasith - our cook assistant. Oh, I forgot to describe the guy I mentioned who used to swing his hands while walking - Adithya - the utensils manager with unrevealed talents.
Krishna and I were the recess resources for all of them.

The seniors were all neighboring us, helping friends and the talent seekers. They guided, supported and showed us the university learning culture.

Days passed, Biryani cooked, Veg and Non-Veg separate, Sambhar and Rasam been prepared, Hari Govind becoming our frequent room-mate and crazy fun-seeker. We becoming involved with Tarun and spring passed.

Friends everywhere, In-Out, wherever we go, whatever we do was had to become a fascinating news for all of them. The birthday smashes, the wrestlings, and the dhobi-pachad were the attraction of room number 96 and 100. The reason I am writing about my home mates is to get some discount in my split dashboard.

Two ISA members, Four Dining members, Three Teaching Assistants, Two CITE Members, Two Graduate Assistants, One Orientation Assistant, were the posts that we held in our entire journey at Northwest, all with the grace of respected faculties, career services, and Aramark.

We entered into summer and I better skip my words to not become emotional, progressing towards the Fall-2016, where Krishna and his team were involved with their project by learning node.js, me been a part of a great team lead by my two closest friends, Prasad with his team developed an iOS emergency app, the rest three in one team coding on Macbook to develop an app.

Indeed we fought, quarreled, cried, seven of us, had our personal lives shared and built a harmony everywhere among our friends. The 20s block, 30s block, 60s block, 70s block, the Mulberry Streets, Walnut Street and the destination of our expanded knowledge - The University Drive were the places we would never forget.

"The paths may differ but the destinations will merge into one."

"We as students are thankful to the Northwest for providing the self-learning attitude, independent lives and an exposure to the country's great culture."

Experience of Love

It was the dusk and very beautiful, we were above 2000 feet from the heavenly earth.

"See that", she says ecstatically with all her amazing expressions.

I was just observing her and she firmly holds my hand and says "This is an amazing experience of my life and the divineness of the nature so amusing to me, see Vishwa(me)"

It was the dusk not on the earth, not even in the skies, right in the middle of it forming a spectacular orange curve above the earth horizon.

I was the happiest man on the earth at that moment, Despite the fact that she is leaving me forever.

It was just an hour before, when I decided to come with Shanaya to her place Jammu,it was my sudden action.

We were in bus on our way to Delhi from Agra, she looks stunning, she expresses her views on me.
"I am happy to have a veracious person like you, a good man indeed" , I kept calm and nodding.

"I never travelled alone, my parents were always there with me. I fear travelling alone, Don't you think It would have been easier for me if my dad was here?"

I nodded and said "Hmm yes.. "

"The time has passed so early Vishwa, I miss my parents and also I will not forget you"

I was feeling fateful and thought to stop her from going, hold her hands and say that I love her and I wanted to come with her to relish those last moments.

Me and Shanaya worked in a research based company in Agra for a period of 2 months, where she resigned and I got posted in Delhi.

I was from Lucknow and Shanaya was from Jammu, I have been affectionate to her. She knew about this but we never wanted to express our feelings to each other.

Bus halted, we took an auto for the airport.

"I feel comfortable with you, when you are there to accompany me" -- She exclaims softly.

Flight was after two hours and I rushed towards the flight attendants on the airport leaving her alone
requesting them to book a ticket beside hers on that flight. They were amused.
I just required those words from her to entail me and all of sudden I managed to book a seat beside her.

She was astonished, startled and full of love which I could see in her dear eyes.

Yes.. Shanaya, I am coming with you, now you will not fear.
Shanaya expressed "I cant believe that you booked a ticket Vishwa, It was not necessary, you care a lot"

Those waiting moments for the flight was the loveliest for me.

And yes it was in the flight 2000ft above, we saw the dusk and we felt love amongst each other.

Flight was about to land, descending at a lightening speed and she held my hands onto hers expressing the most incredible words.... "I LOVE YOU"..

The Initiation

"Jai Sri Ram" - with a joyful heart and sheer confidence being shown by his words..

He left his home, deciding not to stop at any circumstances.

According to him, there is a culture followed by his family and the same happened to him, no male in his house stayed at a place of their birth for a long time, they are all earning their livelihoods in various cities of India.

As soon as he boarded the flight for Delhi, he knew that there could be many things which would weaken him , the first one was the take off, it was his first flight.

Departing to the address mentioned in the mail, he choses google maps for his guide and a local taxi.Chilled weather and heavy rains with mud hole on the roads, made his journey more adventurous.

He used to say "Whatever might be the situation is, u should find fun in doing anything, that makes the boring things interesting"

I never used to believe his words till i found that he was a hilarious guy and never disagrees to do anything crazy and energy full tasks.

As he reached the destined address, he saw his friends already reached there waiting for him.

The place was a village with only apartments and a local station of about 2 kms away and main city was far, about 40 kms.

All his friends already were in their prescribed rooms and they guided him to get a room.

As he enters the gate, from the parking lot, a vast verandah surrounded by four buildings A,B,C and D blocks, each of about 7 floors and he enters the needed one for now.

He enters the flat finds the receptionist, displays the letter and signs the register, all his friends signatures were there in that, and many uheard names too.

He was following a room care taker, who guided to his room in B block and gave him a bedsheet, and also said him the do's and dont's of the apartment and the flat.

He meditated with sounds of OM, just to make the mind in peace, as no one was in the flat at that time, he could higher his tone to feel the vibrations and the peace produced by the inchants of OM.
