It was a majestic scenery all around, the people, the environment, and everything was new. Luckily, We got an apartment for rent and Unfortunately, we had to pay for two months owed to the advance booking, the first step landed on the horizon, in the great countryside of Maryville where the August month's 8:00 PM felt like the 4:00 PM of the tropical countries and there I was thinking about the time travel I made on the Earth, soon when the ISA took 40$ from us, a tall guy named Prahasith accompanied by a lad swinging his hands approached us, (Of course, me and Prasad), Some new friends were playing cricket in the parking lot and Krishna ran towards us from there, like a kid who feels ecstatic for the expected gifts in the luggage of its relatives.
We were five and on the same day, Supreme among us standing outside of our apartment. Ok, Yeah! we mistook him as a faculty due to his sincere gesture and offered a temporary accommodation leading to six of us. Suprem at the speed of light became our permanent cook lead, Prasad - the vegetable chopper, Prahasith - our cook assistant. Oh, I forgot to describe the guy I mentioned who used to swing his hands while walking - Adithya - the utensils manager with unrevealed talents.
Krishna and I were the recess resources for all of them.
The seniors were all neighboring us, helping friends and the talent seekers. They guided, supported and showed us the university learning culture.
Days passed, Biryani cooked, Veg and Non-Veg separate, Sambhar and Rasam been prepared, Hari Govind becoming our frequent room-mate and crazy fun-seeker. We becoming involved with Tarun and spring passed.
Friends everywhere, In-Out, wherever we go, whatever we do was had to become a fascinating news for all of them. The birthday smashes, the wrestlings, and the dhobi-pachad were the attraction of room number 96 and 100. The reason I am writing about my home mates is to get some discount in my split dashboard.
Two ISA members, Four Dining members, Three Teaching Assistants, Two CITE Members, Two Graduate Assistants, One Orientation Assistant, were the posts that we held in our entire journey at Northwest, all with the grace of respected faculties, career services, and Aramark.
We entered into summer and I better skip my words to not become emotional, progressing towards the Fall-2016, where Krishna and his team were involved with their project by learning node.js, me been a part of a great team lead by my two closest friends, Prasad with his team developed an iOS emergency app, the rest three in one team coding on Macbook to develop an app.
Indeed we fought, quarreled, cried, seven of us, had our personal lives shared and built a harmony everywhere among our friends. The 20s block, 30s block, 60s block, 70s block, the Mulberry Streets, Walnut Street and the destination of our expanded knowledge - The University Drive were the places we would never forget.
"The paths may differ but the destinations will merge into one."
